How to deliver client galleries that actually get shared

Delivery is where most referrals are won or lost. The seven tactics below add almost zero time to your workflow.

TL;DR

  • · Deliver a short teaser gallery within 48 hours.
  • · Use a custom subdomain or domain — never the platform default.
  • · Write a personal note in the gallery header — it 3x's engagement.
  • · Add a share prompt above the fold.

1. Send a teaser within 48 hours

Social-ready previews within two days capture the emotion of the event before it fades. Twelve to twenty images is enough. This single tactic drives more inbound inquiries than any other.

2. Brand every inch of the delivery

A Pixieset or Chromafolio default URL feels like a template. Use a custom domain, match your site typography, and lead with your logo. Clients who feel like they got a 'custom product' are 2.4x more likely to refer.

3. Write a personal note

Two or three sentences in the gallery header describing the day or shoot. Not generic. Specific. 'The ceremony light through the pine trees was magic' beats 'Thanks for letting me capture your day.'
